Every year, the Orienteering Association of Hong Kong organizes annual trail orienteering championship with different classes such as beginner, advance, family and elite.
Usually there are two or three qualifying races before the annual championship. There are beginner and advance classes. Those who have good performance in the advance class will qualify to join the elite class at the annual championship.
In addition, the Orienteering Association of Hong Kong will also organize training courses and fun days for the public to know about trail orienteering.
